Classical Soprano specialising in Historical Re-enactment

Alongside her Costume studies, Verity has continued to train as a classical soprano through a Music Scholarship with University Music Bournemouth, allowing her to apply her knowledge of the arts to multiple disciplines. Through this programme, she achieved her ATCL Diploma in 2023 with Distinction, and has performed a wide variety of solo pieces alongside full scale professional orchestration. 

In 2021, Verity won the Hubert Parry Young Vocalist Award with an Outstanding, through the Bournemouth Music Competitions Festival. Formerly Deputy Head Girl of Bournemouth School for Girls, she has also contributed widely to the musical life of the school from 2014-2021.

A key member of the music scene within the Dorset area, Verity's solo Oratorio work includes Mozart's Requiem and Vespers, Rutter's Requiem, Vivaldi's Gloria and Fauré's Requiem. Operatic work includes the role of Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas (2022) and Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen (2023) - for both of which Verity also acted as head of Costume.
