Biography

Currently in her final year of a BA (Hons) Costume degree at the Arts University Bournemouth, Verity Joy is a historical costumier and classical Soprano specialising in historical re-enactmant and recreation. 

​

During her degree, she has developed a keen passion for research-based reproduction, using extant garments to inform and inspire her creations. Verity has worked on commissions for museums across England, including collaborating with The Square Pianist to craft bespoke costumes for performance.

​

Verity is now planning to develop her skills through a Masters in Historical Costume, with a focus on museum-based conservation and curation.
